one would have to wonder, with how often its portrayed, and the similarities in which they are portrayed, how much of this cloak and dagger, obnoxious and arrogant politics actually happen in china.
almost every chinese anime and novel that ive seen has some crazy outlandish form of double standard revenge going on. "my people are allowed to kill you, but if you so much as scratch my people in self defense, you deserve to die"
seriously, whats up with that? is it really that bad? or is it something that fiction authors use as a controversy hook? I'm obviously not chinese, so I have no background information or reference material.
everywhere in the world has bullies, but the way i see it represented in chinese literature seems excessive, even with the crazy things i hear about china in the news
